If you ride a classic bike, or like retro style clothing, then the Spada Staffy wax cotton jacket could be the one for you. To emphasise that heritage look the jacket comes with antique-style brass buckles and poppers, a fixed tartan thermal lining and leather diamond patterned protection overlaid onto the shoulder area. The retro feeling ends there though, as this jacket has all the things you’d expect to find in a modern-day item of clothing. This includes a four-piece CE approved impact defence system, a weather storm flap plus the obligatory waist, cuff and collar adjustments. The Staffy is available in two colour options, which is either black or brown. Size availability is from S to XXL – surprisingly I managed to squeeze into a medium size on this one; I’d expected it to be a bit tight, but it wasn’t. It just goes to show that whatever size you are, it always pays to try things on.

Out of all the jackets I’ve tested recently I must say that I do like the retro styling that the Staffy provides; it has also proved to be one of the most comfortable as well.
