Bikers set to invade Hastings this May Day

Celebrating 40 years of the Locksbottom to Hastings May Day Run, Swinton Insurance has teamed up with Bike1066 to run a family friendly festival of motorcycling over the bank holiday weekend, from 5-7 May.

The Mayday Run was started in 1979 by a group of biking mates who needed a destination for the first ever May Day bank holiday – and over the last 40 years, the event has grown and grown, and now attracts up to 40,000 bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts in a single day.

This year, it’s bigger and better than ever before – with Ken Fox’s Wall of Death, an Isle of Man TT Race simulator, BIG screen BSB Racing coverage, a Street Custom Exhibition, and a 12 hour rock music marathon. Plus there will be hundreds of traders and exhibitors offering some fantastic kit at discounted prices.
