Motorbike security event at the Ace Cafe on Friday 5 August

Carole Nash, one of UK and Ireland’s leading motorcycle insurance brokers, is pleased to be partnering with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to hold an event dedicated to bike security, showcasing their unique award-winning security product, DNA+.

DNA+ is a sophisticated forensic protection system which bike owners can apply to their bike to leave an invisible unique mark. If the bike is stolen, the police are equipped to identify the bike and return it to the owner via the DNA+ system.

The Carole Nash team will be conducting a live demonstration of the product at the Ace Cafe in London, a popular biking haunt on Friday 5 August, from 6 – 9pm.

Officers from the MPS will also be sharing tips on how to keep a motorcycle or moped safe as well as crime prevention advice.

Detective Superintendent Raffaele D’Orsi, said: “Today’s event demonstrates the commitment of motorcycle enthusiasts, industry and the police to innovatively tackle theft of motorcycles and mopeds. The use of DNA+ will enhance protection as well as the potential for detection.
