One of Europe’s favourite commuter scooters is heading to the UK this summer, with an all-new four-valve electronic fuel-injected engine and ABS brakes as standard.
According to Kymco, the People GT 300i ABS offers the complete modern package for serious commuters wanting performance, style and stability when zipping through congested roads, or cruising at top speeds down the motorway.
At the heart of Kymco’s new machine is the Taiwanese manufacturer’s latest four-stroke, four-valve liquid-cooled engine with EFI that can achieve a top speed of 85mph. For commuters, the scoot’s power to weight ratio also make it very quick off the mark too.
The lightweight design, combined with the stability of 16” alloy wheels, telescopic front fork and adjustable rear shocks all add to the overall riding experience too, offering a smooth and balanced ride. This is further strengthened with the inclusion of Bosch ABS for additional safety, even at high speeds.
The People GT 300i also has a distinctive contemporary design, which is why it’s one of Kymco’s top sellers in Europe, rivalling all others in its class. This and its impressive ergonomic comfort give it instant rider appeal.
Feature wise, the all-new People GT 300i ABS is fully loaded with everything you’d expect from a top-of-the-range compact sports-commuter scooter, including day-time running lights. There is also a useful 12-Volt accessory outlet and lockable underseat storage, large enough to hold an open face helmet with room to spare.
Launching in August 2016, the Euro 4 compliant Kymco People GT 300i ABS will be available in Satin Silver priced at just £3999, with a two-year unlimited-mileage manufacturer’s warranty.
PCP & other finance options will be available for the launch.
